I made my way up the building to the top floor by way of a service elevator which was operated by a site worker, accompanied by the architect Mark and several other workers.

Here you can the core of the building with plywood covering the elevator shaft, the reason for covering the shaft is that a glass facade will be constructed in that position to allow for light into the elevator lifts when operable.

Arriving at the top floor possible, workers were placing the re-inforcement and formwork as they were getting ready for the next slab pour.

Re-inforcement bars for the next column and slab re-inforcement stored on site.

Proping of the floor above and reinforcement around pipes (red painted steel)

Bathroom is now near completion with the marble benchtop placed into position and taps/spouts fixed onto the vanity basins.

The plant room with fireproof plasterboard (red).

The wall is made out of recycled concrete, the block work is 95% fly ash and 5% cement
